#BeingROMI

Our values and philosophies shape the path that leads us to fulfill our purpose.

Work philosophy

Freedom and responsibility

We believe that a system built on responsibility is far more effective than one based on control.

We place trust in our people, empowering them to act in the best interest of ROMI and, by extension, our clients.

Team members are free to work where they prefer, during the hours they choose, and to take time off without bureaucratic hurdles. This approach allows us to attract top talent without geographic or structural limits. The boundary to this freedom is not a rigid set of rules, but each individual’s sense of responsibility toward the company.

We strive to be a company defined by a culture of self-discipline, where team members take initiative to identify and solve problems without being prompted.

We hire responsible individuals, trust them fully, and expect their very best.

Top talent team

Working at a great company means being surrounded by exceptional colleagues. Imagine being part of a team where everyone around you is someone you respect and can learn from. At ROMI, we are committed to reaching our full potential so we can be the kind of colleagues who raise the bar and elevate the company as a whole.

We see ourselves as a team, not a family. Families are built on unconditional love. Teams are driven by a shared mission, where each member pushes the others to be the best version of themselves.

As team members, we build strong, meaningful relationships and genuinely care for one another but we are fully aware that belonging to the company is not determined by seniority, it’s based on the results we deliver.

In procedural work, top performers are twice as effective as average ones. In creative work, they can be ten times better. That’s why we build our teams with the very best in each specific role.

We firmly believe that people are the true driving force behind ROMI. Every team member has the power to shape the success of our clients’ initiatives. Our people are never just numbers, they are the foundation of our company and the true expression of its value in the marketplace.

For this reason, we are committed to working with top performers and to creating the best possible environment for each person to reach their potential.

At the same time, our sense of integrity and responsibility toward our clients compels us to end collaborations that are not delivering value. Those who join ROMI choose excellence over comfort, and prefer a company that rewards performance over unconditional security.

Lightness

Lightness is our approach to everyday challenges. In this context, lightness is not superficiality.

It means not taking ourselves too seriously, facing situations with a smile and a positive attitude, rather than through the weight of anxiety or fear. This mindset opens the door to broader, often better, perspectives.

Lightness not only enhances our overall well-being, but also fosters a stimulating and fulfilling work environment.

In this atmosphere, mistakes are not moments of blame, they are opportunities to learn and grow. The entire team supports one another through every step.

We reject opportunism and office gossip. We approach every project with calm focus and genuine enthusiasm and, when appropriate, with a healthy sense of humor and self-irony.

Kaizen

The term Kaizen comes from two Japanese words: KAI, meaning change, and ZEN, meaning better. Together, they represent a philosophy of continuous improvement.

At ROMI, Kaizen is a mindset of ongoing self-development aimed at consistently unlocking greater potential and achieving lasting progress.

We foster open dialogue, continuous communication, and a strong feedback culture to identify every possible area for improvement in our work.

We consider self-criticism a strength, an essential trait that keeps us open to learning, receiving new input, and suggesting small but meaningful improvements along the way.

We design personalized growth plans, provide the right training tools, and encourage every team member to embrace a mindset of continuous evolution.

Ego is the enemy

Ego is a company's main enemy. It’s the false sense of superiority and certainty that goes beyond healthy confidence and genuine talent. Ego blocks our ability to learn, stifles true creativity, undermines collaboration, and stands in the way of sustaining long-term success.

These insights lead us to quiet our ego in favor of active listening, humility, and discipline.

We promote open listening and the acceptance of others’ perspectives. At ROMI, everyone is encouraged to speak up and suggest change. It’s the responsibility of our managers to listen, assess, and make decisions based on what’s best for ROMI, not limited by their own point of view or position of authority.

We strive for excellence, which is why we actively promote humility. Humility drives us to grow—by keeping us aware of how much more there is to learn and motivating us to keep studying, improving, and evolving.

This mindset leads us to raise the bar, embrace continuous improvement, unlock our full potential, and reach the level of excellence that lies at the heart of ROMI’s mission.

Integrity

For an object, a system, a person, or any human practice, integrity is the state of being whole, complete, flawless, solid—functioning in its best possible condition. Every role within a company comes with responsibilities, tasks, and duties. To act with integrity means being fully aligned with your role, true to your function within ROMI and, above all, committed to the client. Integrity means taking ownership of your words and standing by them.

It means choosing the right path over the easier one.

It means embracing and consistently upholding ROMI’s system of values.

Integrity means being consistent. Consistency is revealed when there is no contradiction between intention and action.

In essence, a person of integrity is whole, someone whose feelings, thoughts, words, and actions are fully aligned and consistently directed toward the well-being of themselves, the company, and others.

Philosophy of service

Excellence

We don't settle for being "one of the best", our goal is to be the best.

Our name, “ROMI”, an acronym for Return on Marketing Investment, embodies a concrete commitment to our clients. A commitment to expertise, reliability, quality, and, more broadly, excellence.

The ROMI philosophy is also a commitment to ourselves. A pledge not to settle, to raise the standard, to give our best, and to fully express the potential we’ve been given.

Our guiding light is growth, and we understand that to achieve it, we must deliver the highest level of excellence, one that is, in fact, synonymous with the highest standard of quality.

For this reason, we have defined clear quality standards for our services across every area of our company.

We hold ourselves to high standards and strive each day to do even better, paying close attention to even the smallest details.

Long-term vision

At ROMI, we are committed to building long-term relationships. We understand that the success of our company depends on sustained partnerships with our clients.

For this reason, we don’t believe in one-off services or short-term strategies, they simply don’t align with true growth objectives.

Our proposals and actions are always rooted in long-term strategy, focused on real, sustainable, and solid growth.

Our approach is based on continuous iteration and experimentation.

We don’t see ourselves as mere service providers, but as strategic partners in our clients’ success. We embrace their vision and goals as our own, and take full responsibility for helping achieve them.

We build Assets

Our goal is to create lasting value through the development of both tangible and intangible assets.

Alongside direct response marketing strategies—which are designed to deliver quick results—we also focus on building long-term assets that companies can leverage over time.

Salesforce CRM implementation, website and brand development, SEO, marketing automation, and sales procedures are all essential assets for structured, sustainable business growth.

Service, Consulting, Influence

We have always been a service-oriented company.

ROMI does not sell training to businesses—we share our know-how freely and charge for execution.

Our goal is to positively influence companies on topics we deeply believe in, such as work culture and, more broadly, corporate social responsibility.

Social commitment

Time and money

We believe in corporate social responsibility. As an organization of people, we have the power to positively influence our environment.

For this reason, ROMI dedicates both time and financial resources to non-profit initiatives.

Specifically, we invest a portion of our company time and profits, at no cost, into social projects, initiatives, and non-profit organizations that support the development of human potential: education, learning, addiction prevention, and more.

Participation

"To live means to participate, not to be indifferent to what happens." – A. Gramsci

ROMI actively supports its team members in engaging with the social causes they personally care about.

For this reason, any time an employee spends each month actively participating in social initiatives is recognized as paid company time.
